What espresso machines do you repair? We currently specialize in Philips fully automatic espresso machines, including the 1200, 2200, 3200, 3300, 4300, 4400, 5400, 5500, and similar models.⸻How much is the diagnostic fee?Our $40 diagnostic fee covers a full inspection of your machine. If you approve the repair, the diagnostic fee is applied toward your repair cost.⸻How long do repairs take? Most repairs are completed within 2–5 business days after you approve the estimate. If special-order parts are needed, we’ll keep you updated on the timeline.⸻Do I need an appointment? No. Simply contact us to start your repair request, and we’ll provide instructions for local drop-off or mail-in service.⸻Do you offer mail-in repairs?Yes! We proudly offer nationwide mail-in repair service. Customers can safely ship their Philips espresso machine to us, and we’ll repair it and ship it back once the work is complete.⸻Who pays for shipping?Customers are responsible for shipping their machine to Flow Fix Repairs. Return shipping is also the customer’s responsibility and will be added to the final invoice.⸻Do you provide estimates before repairing my machine?Yes. We inspect every machine and provide a repair estimate before any work begins. We never perform repairs without your approval.⸻My machine says “Descale.” Will that fix the problem? Not always. Descaling only removes mineral buildup from the water system. It does not clean the grinder, brew unit compartment, coffee pathway, or remove coffee oils and grounds that can cause clogs, weak coffee, grinder issues, or poor machine performance.⸻Why is my grinder not working?A grinder may stop working because of coffee oil buildup, clogged coffee grounds, worn components, or a mechanical issue. We’ll inspect the grinder and recommend the best repair to restore proper performance.⸻How often should my machine be professionally cleaned? For the best performance, we recommend a professional internal cleaning every 2–3 months, especially if you use your machine daily. Regular maintenance removes coffee oils, fine coffee grounds, and buildup that descaling cannot remove. Keeping the grinder and brew unit clean helps prevent clogs, improves coffee quality, and extends the life of your machine. For heavy users who make multiple drinks every day, use their machine in an office, or have an Airbnb, monthly preventive maintenance may be recommended. Our Flow Fix Care Membership makes it easy to keep your machine running at its best year-round.⸻Do you use genuine replacement parts?Whenever possible, we use genuine OEM replacement parts or high-quality compatible parts that meet our quality standards.⸻Is my repair covered by a warranty?Yes. We provide a 30-day workmanship warranty on the repairs we perform. The warranty covers the repaired issue only and does not include accidental damage, misuse, neglect, or unrelated future problems.⸻Can you repair my machine if someone else already worked on it?Yes. We’ll inspect the machine and let you know if it can be repaired. Previous repairs don’t automatically prevent us from servicing it.⸻What payment methods do you accept? We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and other approved electronic payment methods. Payment is due before your repaired machine is returned.⸻What if I decide not to repair my machine? If you choose not to move forward after the diagnosis, you’ll only be responsible for the diagnostic fee and any applicable return shipping charges.⸻This version also reinforces one of your biggest selling points: descaling isn’t enough. That naturally encourages customers to consider your Flow Fix Care Membership for regular maintenance.
